K. Priyadarshini Achary, a dedicated member of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), stands as a shining example of compassionate leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people. Since February 2022, she has held the esteemed position of Chairperson of Panchyati Samiti in Buguda Block, Ganjam. Additionally, she serves as the President of Samiti Sabhya Sanga in Ganjam district and holds a crucial role as a state executive body member in the Sabhya Sangha Odisha Committee.

Early Life and Education
Born and raised in Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi district, K. Priyadarshini Achary completed her school education in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her academic journey led her to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. From her formative years, she displayed a profound dedication to serving rural communities, participating in various NGO welfare initiatives.
Commitment to Humanitarian Causes
Priyadarshini’s commitment to humanitarian causes has been evident since her teenage years. Actively engaging in NGO welfare drives, she realized the importance of continuous learning to better serve the community. To enhance her capabilities, she participated in numerous workshops, including the Induction Training Program named Changemaker: Women in Politics by the State Institute for Rural Development, where she gained insights into women’s roles in politics.
Her dedication to child and women welfare initiatives was evident in her participation in the National Workshop on Child-Friendly and Women-Friendly at Gram Panchayat held at KIIT University. Priyadarshini also represented the state of Odisha at a national-level workshop in Parliament House, New Delhi, showcasing her commitment to national-level discussions on critical issues.
